To day was another scramble with one of Mr. Bartlett’s awful English lessons. I got through in time to go to Church this evening but it was “a long long pull and a hard hard pull.”

Yola Allen and Emma Preston came to Church with me to-night!

It began to snow very hard during mass, and when we got home my clothes were soaked through. Emma was very clever and made a game of it all so I didn’t feel upset at ruining my dress.

The snow persists even now. Class in the morning will be a dreary affair.
